Jarrod Murrieta

Jarrod Murrieta was named Head of Auto Claims for Farmers Exchanges in January 2026. He leads more than 3,600 employees nationwide, overseeing Auto Physical Damage, Casualty, and Med/PIP Claims.

With nearly two decades of insurance industry experience, Jarrod brings deep expertise across the full claims lifecycle. Since joining Farmers in 2007, he has built a career grounded in operational rigor, large-scale leadership, and organizational transformation. He is recognized for leading complex organizations with clarity and accountability—positioning Claims as a durable competitive advantage through disciplined execution, intentional talent development, and deliberate, strategy-driven decision-making.

Prior to his current role, Jarrod served as Head of Claims Operations and Strategy, where he led enterprise claims services that support both frontline performance and long-term business outcomes. His career spans senior leadership roles across Auto Claims, Property Claims, and Claims Shared Services, including regional, catastrophe, and national functions.

Jarrod holds a B.A. in Communications with a minor in Gender Studies from Lewis & Clark College.
