Sheriffs from across Florida gathered at Trump National Doral on Tuesday to discuss recent arrests.

Miami-Dade County Sheriff Rosie Cordero-Stutz, Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd, and Putnam County Sheriff Homer "Gator" DeLoach were joined by Florida Chief Financial Officer Blaise Ingoglia.

According to Ingoglia, since taking office, there have been more than 1,200 arrests, totaling more than $38 million in restitution.

Ingoglia said there were 600 arrests by the Bureau of Insurance Fraud, 344 arrests by the Bureau of Arson and explosives, 199 arrests for public assistance fraud, 42 arrests from the Office of Fiscal Integrity and 126 illegal immigrants that were handed to Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

"My investigators have worked to put fraudsters behind bars and send a clear and concise message to criminals who are attempting to commit fraud here in the state of Florida; we will find you, and we will send you to prison," he said.

During the press conference, the sheriffs praised Ingoglia's collaboration to make these arrests happen.
