"Cat Crusaders" Task Force Recovers 41 Catalytic Converters, 9 Firearms and $10,000 Cash in Operation!
On Wednesday, February 2, 2022, the Antelope Valley Cat Crusaders conducted an operation that resulted in the recovery of 41 catalytic converters, nine firearms, a kit to manufacture ghost guns, and $10,000 in cash.
One male adult was arrested for grand theft, receiving stolen property, and being in possession of the ghost gun manufacturing kit. He was transported and booked at Lancaster Station on a $20,000 bail.
The AV Cat Crusaders is a joint task force comprised of detectives from Lancaster Sheriff’s Station and Palmdale Sheriff’s Station. The detectives on the task force dedicate themselves exclusively to combating catalytic converter thefts.
