Rimrock Man Guilty of Burning Down His Home in Insurance Fraud Scheme
Prescott, AZ – Yavapai County Attorney Dennis McGrane announced that on Friday, August 1, 2025, a Yavapai County Jury found Cheston Louis Trammel, 46, of Rimrock, guilty of Arson of an Occupied Structure and Fraudulent Schemes. County Attorney McGrane thanked the jury for their service and careful consideration of the facts, and commended Deputy Yavapai County Attorney Ethan Wolfinger for an excellent job in preparing and presenting the case at trial.
Sentencing is scheduled for September 29, 2025, at 3:00pm. before the Honorable Michael Bluff of the Yavapai County Superior Court. Trammel is facing up to 15.5 years in the Arizona State Prison.
