NICB Assists French Agency

The NICB recently assisted a French agency specializing in locating stolen vehicles who works with European Law Enforcement and insurance companies.

The NICB assisted with three different cases where the agent’s expertise and knowledge resulted in the positive identification of vehicles / equipment.

Positively identified were an alleged PIN-switched 2025 Caterpillar Mini-Excavator reported stolen to CAT Europe, belonging to a person in Berlin, Germany, and valued at $60,000; a 2012 Ford GT500 reportedly VIN-switched, stolen out of Sweden, and valued at $33,575; and a Dodge Ram pickup which was reportedly VIN-switched and using a salvage VIN off of a Dodge Ram 1500 TRX out of Texas, and valued at $92,325.
