Man Wanted in Connection with Dekalb Fraud, Forgery

ATLANTA – Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner John F. King announced today that warrants have been issued for Justin G. Redd, 35, of Atlanta, for two counts of Insurance Fraud and one count of 1st Degree Forgery. Mr. Redd is wanted in connection with a Dekalb County case.

“The suspect submitted two separate fraudulent burglary claims with his insurance provider, Travelers Insurance Company,” said Commissioner King. “Mr. Redd initiated the first claim in 2018 stating items that he previously returned to the retailer were stolen from his house. He then initiated a second claim in 2019 using a forged receipt to claim items he never owned.”

The warrant was issued on November 12th by a Dekalb County Judge.
