AURORA PD LEAVES AUTO THEFT TASK FORCE

Denver 7 reported on the Aurora PD’s decision to remove their personnel from the Colorado Metropolitan Auto Theft Task Force (CMATT). The department cites staffing shortages as the reason for pulling out of the task force. Mayor Pro Tem Françoise Bergan stated they will return to the task force when they are able to stabilize staffing.
