Moore police make bust of tractor-trailer loaded with ill-gotten TVs

MOORE, Okla. — Officers with the Moore Police Department made an unusual bust after being notified a tractor-trailer left Texas with stolen items.

Inside the trailer, nearly $300,000 worth of TVs that a person was able to get after forging a bill of lading.

“There was a forged bill of lading, which is similar to a manifest, and then they showed up to a distribution center in Fort Worth with it, and the truck got loaded with that quantity of TVs,” said Sgt. Justin Sternberg, with the Moore Police Department.
