Suspect arrested in recent vehicles burglaries

A Willis man suspected in several vehicle burglaries that occurred in the Timberwilde and Elkins Lake neighborhoods was arrested on Friday night.

Amadeus Morin, 23, was charged with four counts of Theft of a Firearm and four counts of Possession of Firearm by a Felon after Huntsville Police and Walker County Sheriff’s Office Detectives ran search warrants at several locations in Walker and Montgomery Counties.

Morin is suspected of breaking into several cars in Timberwilde on the night of Sunday, Oct. 6, and several cars in Elkins Lake on the night of Wednesday, Oct. 9.
