Contractor fraud wanted by Shreveport Police

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — Detectives are seeking public assistance locating a man allegedly connected with a contractor fraud case in April 2024.

Shreveport Police and the Caddo Parish White Collar Crimes task force identified the man as 35-year-old Luis Gonzales-Arevalo.

Shreveport Police Department defines contract fraud ‘as the misappropriation or intentional taking of anything of value that belongs to another, either without the consent of the other to the misappropriation or taking, or using fraudulent conduct, practices, or representations by a person who has contracted to perform any home improvement or residential construction, or who has subcontracted for the performance of any home improvement or residential construction.’
