Key fobs that allow you to unlock your car and start it by pushing a button are something we've all gotten used to. But car thieves are using their own tech to capture your fob's electronic signal.

The News 4 I-Team shows how it happened to one local woman, and the simple step you can take to protect your vehicle.

Most of us don't think about our key fob until it's time to leave the house. But it sends out an electronic signal that can be intercepted even when it's not being used.
